Born in Norway, Merete Buljo has been living in Paris for over 25 years.
Thanks to her double culture and dual degree in humanities and computer science, Merete has a genuine ability to grasp both business and technological issues and successfully implement transformation and change management programs.
Her experience in the banking sector is rich and varied. She began her career in computer services in the early 1990s where she designed banking applications. In 2000 she moved to the business side to lead large IT convergence projects.
Since then, she has worked in multiple areas such as cash management, financing, payments, consumer credit and securities custody. In addition to IT, she held key positions in Quality, Risk Management, Legal, Purchasing, Communication, Marketing and Innovation.
Currently Chief Digital & Customer Experience Officer and member of the executive committee of Natixis EuroTitres, she manages the company's innovation and digital transformation program. She develops partnerships with startups, implements innovative customer interface solutions and ensures the adoption of digital culture and practices in the company.
Besides her professional activity, Merete Buljo is the President & founder of the Do Tank "Digital Ladies and Allies" that aims to foster more diversity and more women in the Tech industry.
In addition, Merete Buljo represents the French Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Paris as the chairwoman of the board. She's also a visiting lecturer, and a speaker with a wide range of talks.
