Hydrovolt is a sustainable battery recycling company established in 2020 as a 50/50 joint venture between the Norwegian industry giant Hydro and Swedish battery manufacturer Northvolt. Focused on EV and industrial batteries, we develop processes and technologies that increase the proportion of materials recovered from recycling, recapturing up to 95 percent for manufacturing of new green products and batteries. By pioneering battery recycling, we deliver solutions for batteries at their end-of-life and produce high quality, and sustainable raw materials to enable electrification and a circular economy in a decarbonized world.
